Cuisine Italian
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/4 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Grated
- 1/4 cup Almond flour
- 1/4 cup Parsley chopped
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Olive oil for cooking
- Fresh basil
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes.
Remove from heat and drain the excess oil.
Serve the meatballs on their own or with your favorite keto-friendly sauce and top with basil.
Air-fryer Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the formed meatballs in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
Cook the meatballs for about 10-15 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown, turning them halfway through cooking.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure that they reach an internal temperature of 160F (71C) or 165F (74C) if you are using turkey or chicken.
Once they are cooked, remove the meatballs from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Keep in mind that cook time may vary depending on the size of your meatballs and your air fryer, so you may need to adjust the time accordingly.
