- 1 lb Large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 4 Garlic cloves minced
- 1/4 cup Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
In the skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and just cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the lemon juice and olive oil. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges, if desired.
